Road to Aiken (South Carolina)

Ezek 3:4 And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.
I send you to a place.
Ezek 3:5 for thou [art] not sent to a people of a strange speech and of an hard language, [but] to the house of Israel;
Not a foreign land, but to people like you.
Ezek 3:6 Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee.
I will send you and you will be understood. I send you to them and you will communicate.

We have come to a church in Aiken, Apostolic Lighthouse, that has a strong Deaf congregation. Aiken itself has a large Deaf population.
We, Rhonda and I, are encouraged in the possibilities here! I had prayed in this year that an interpreter be sent to the church we were in that Rhonda would find more from the services. I also prayed that I would learn more sign language and become more capable.

And this is how God honored my prayer; by putting us into a Deaf church! This is how I will become more proficient in the language...sink or swim!
But, as it says in the Word "had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee." And before they can hearken, He will teach me how to speak!
